Terms of Service

The agreement between Agent27 and the businesses that use it. Written to be read, not skimmed. Last updated 5 September 2026.

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between Agent27 (“Agent27”, “we”) and the business that creates a workspace (“you”, the “Customer”). By creating a workspace, inviting teammates or paying an invoice you accept them on behalf of your business.

If you are signing up for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Individuals under 18 may not use the service.

2. What Agent27 provides

Agent27 is a hosted CRM with a shared inbox, task board, automations builder, telephony integration and AI assistance. We provide it as a subscription, keep it available, fix bugs and improve it over time. Features may change; we will give at least 30 days’ notice before removing a feature you pay for.

AI features produce suggestions, not decisions. Drafts, summaries, scores and briefs can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything the AI produces before it reaches a customer, and for any message your team or automations send.

3. Accounts and workspaces

  • Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your accounts.
  • The person who creates a workspace is its Owner. Owners control billing, members, integrations and data export. Owners can hand over ownership from Settings.
  • Each plan includes a fixed number of seats. A seat is any active member. Removing a member frees the seat immediately.
  • Tell us promptly at security@agent27.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Agent27 to:

  • Send messages to people who have not opted in, or continue after they opt out. WhatsApp, TRAI and Meta rules apply to every message you send.
  • Send spam, scams, misleading offers, or anything unlawful under Indian law.
  • Record calls without the notice required by law.
  • Upload data you have no right to process, including lists bought without consent.
  • Probe, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, or resell it without a written agreement.

Meta may suspend a WhatsApp number that breaks its policies. We cannot restore a number Meta has blocked. Repeated violations may lead us to suspend or close your workspace.

5. Plans, billing and payment

  • Prices are listed on our pricing page in Indian Rupees, per workspace, exclusive of GST. GST is added at the applicable rate and shown on every invoice.
  • New workspaces start with a 14-day free trial. No payment method is needed to start. When the trial ends without a subscription the workspace becomes read-only until you pick a plan.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Razorpay. Annual plans are priced at ten months’ monthly cost.
  • The AI wallet is prepaid. Top-ups are non-refundable but never expire while the workspace is active. AI features pause when the wallet reaches zero; the rest of the CRM keeps working.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not refund the unused portion, except where the law requires it.
  • If a renewal payment fails we retry for 7 days and email the Owner. After that the workspace moves to the free trial state until payment succeeds.
  • We may change prices with 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.

6. Your data

You own the data you and your team put into Agent27. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and under your instructions as Data Fiduciary.

  • You can export your leads, messages and tasks as CSV at any time from Settings.
  • You may delete your workspace at any time. We remove its data within 30 days, except records we must retain by law.
  • We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics to improve the product. We never sell your data and never use your customer data to train AI models.
  • We will notify the Owner without undue delay, and within 72 hours, if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.

7. Third-party services

The service connects to WhatsApp (Meta), telephony (Exotel), payments (Razorpay), email (Resend) and AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). Their terms govern your use of their platforms, and their availability is outside our control. You are responsible for any fees they charge you directly, such as WhatsApp conversation charges or call minutes billed by your telephony provider.

8. Intellectual property

Agent27, its software, design and documentation belong to us and our licensors. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business while you subscribe. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your data to us.

9. Availability and support

  • We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans, excluding scheduled maintenance announced 24 hours in advance. If we miss that for a month, you can request a service credit of 10% of that month’s fee.
  • Support is by email and in-app chat on business days, 9:00 to 18:00 IST. Pro plans get priority response within 4 business hours.

10. Warranties and limits on liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, it is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will be error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that it will produce any particular sales result.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or breaches of confidentiality or data protection duties.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from messages you send, data you upload, or your breach of section 4.

11. Suspension and termination

  • You may close your workspace at any time from Settings.
  • We may suspend access immediately if we reasonably believe the service is being used unlawfully, in breach of section 4, or in a way that threatens other customers. We will tell you why and, where possible, give you a chance to fix it.
  • We may end this agreement for convenience with 60 days’ notice, in which case we refund any prepaid fees for the period after termination.
  • After termination you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, both parties agree to try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion for 30 days. Nothing here limits either party’s right to seek urgent injunctive relief.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we email workspace Owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, you may cancel before they apply.
